Here is Steve Mangold's request for Mr. Miracle. Thanks, Steve!
Sorry I started so close to the edge of the paper :[

Request: Alcoholic Darkseid
Whoa hey! Looks like I am back on the drawing-those-sketch-requests wagon! Yup I am back, and the first one up is David Uzumeri's request for alcoholic Darkseid wearing a wifebeater in an armchair on a porch hucking beer cans.

Moving sale!
I am moving cross-country in two weeks and I am trying to drum up some extra money by selling stuff because moving is way expensive!
So here is this cover I drew for Hack/Slash #5 and I am selling it.
And as usual, all of my old original art is available for purchase. Check this post for pages that are still collecting dust from Atom Eve, Rex Splode, and Brit. If you want to get several pages, I am willing to cut deals. I ain't above haggling! I don't have time to dig up jpgs of every page in every comic I drew, so if you kinda know what page you want but don't know what page NUMBER it is, thats fine.
Don't forget about prints, which you can scoop up on my Big Cartel page shop store.
If you don't have the clams to spend on stuff right now, I understand. We're cool! But please help a fella out and spread the word, please retweet, reblog, repost, share, like, fart, burp whatever you have to do. I would really appreciate it. There might be some Hack/Slash fan out there hankering for this cover, who knows!
You guys are awesome and I love youse.
Ack ack ack ack ack!
Acme Superstore held a Mars Attacks event earlier this month and asked me to contribute some sketch cards and I was psyched to oblige. I had somehow forgotten just how much I loved Mars Attacks, and just drawing lots of gory stuff in general, when I was a kid.
Also, an update on prints if anyone is looking to buy them. You will now find the sidebar bare of all but one paypal button. Click through to my shop to find all my available prints. They took care of the pesky multiple shipping costs and all that stuff, so it should be easier for everyone. Cool.

Prints!
Hooray! Look here are my cool dude prints, and on the right side of this blog page are the buttons you need to smash on if you want to get some of them for whatever reason you may have!
Here are some important details.
Two Face: 11x8.5 inches, non-glossy, run of 200
X-Ladies: 11x8.5 inches, yes-glossy, run of 100
These are what remains of those sold at SDCBC this year. Both are suitable for framing or keeping condensation from your drink glasses from getting on the nice finish of the tables in your house! If you would like to order more than one print, please do so by making separate orders through button smashes. Your orders will come in and I will see that some dude at the same address and name as another dude ordered another print and I will refund you the shipping cost that you have been doubly slammed with.

Final SDCBC post
Check it out here is a nice fancy expertly made informational graphics to help out anybody trying to get all up in my business this year at San Diego Comicbook Con. It also applies to the fantastic Cory Walker, except for all of the parts below the part where it shows you where we are.
Hipster X-Ladies
Well! Guess what, cool print news is here again because there is another cool print for you to get if you wanted it. I have smashed all of the hipster X-Men women into one print to assure that if you hate any one of them in particular you are forced to face that fact every day for the rest of your life! The print is 8.5x11 on regular old non-glossy paper.

The Science Boutique
Hey ho everybody, been pretty busy so I don't have any new requests done yet. Sadface! The next batch are pretty fun though, so I should have them up soon.
But I did want to post a heads up about my girlfriend's Etsy shop. She has been making jewelry for the science-minded individual. Perfect for anyone who has wished they could accessorize like Ms. Frizzle from The Magic Schoolbus. Take a look and see if there is anything for you or the scientistess in your life!

Request: Let's Be Friends Again
Curt Franklin and Chris Haley of Let's Be Friends Again, requested by Haley himself, can you believe the amour-propre on that guy? Sheesh.
Request: Gilly and Otis
I kinda took a break from the request list so I could catch up on work, and yesterday I plopped out a whole page in one sitting and figure I can get back to these. Sorry for the lapse, but here we go again. This request here is from my awesome friend Laney Wunderli, of her two dogs Gilly and Otis. Otis was recently arrested for accidentally murdering three chickens. Whoops!
Hey, if you want to make a request of your own, the button is on the right side of the page, and some useful guidelines in NAQ form (never asked questions) can be found here, but I am gonna be honest guys, I still have a bit of a list to work through at this point, so I am probably gonna stop mentioning this stuff until I get caught back up, and then you guys can fill the list back up again. BUT if you want to put your request in now, I'm not gonna stop you. Gopher it!

Request: Doctor Orpheus
BEHOOOOOOOLLLLLD
A one Brian Dorfman scratched a name in blood on a parchment which he then cast into the sultry flames of a burning coffin at the stroke of midnight on a Tuesday! This name was communed to me by the spirit of a motorcycle mechanic who died of diabetes, and this name was that of DOCTOR ORPHEUS, NECROMANCER OF THE ORDER OF THE TRIAD.
Ahem. If you too would like to use the eldritch forces asleep deep inside the earth to relay a request to me, you are going to have to ask someone else how to do that. However, if you want you can do it electrically over the computer networks. Would that be okay? If so, make sure you read up on the guidelines before you take a crack at the button on the sidebar, cool?
Request: Elongated Man
Here is the stretchiest detective in town, Elongated Man, at Michael Solko's request. He was pretty cool to draw.
So, I know what you are thinking, you're thinking whoa how do I, a simple farmer, get a fancy big shot artist, who lives in a house with running water and the like, to draw a thing I decide? The answer couldn't be simpler! Check out these simple rules and have at the button on the sidebar!
Request: Thanos
Here is an awesome request from Jean-Paul Dorigo, Thanos walking a Dachshund. Hope you like it, JP! Can I call you JP?
If you would like to make a request, and also tell me what nicknames are appropriate, you should definitely read up on the guidelines and click the hell out of the button on the sidebar.
Request: Barracuda
Hey! I am back with some more requests. Sorry for being away, I was cranking out some pages something fierce. But now I am back and here we go! Rian Miller requested Barracuda from Punisher MAX, probably the best villain Punisher ever had as far as being a legitimate threat. He is the best.
You too can make a request and see me draw it and post it and talk about it! All you have to do is read this post and smack that little tiny button over there on the sidebar. You know you wanna!

Request: Aquaman
This request comes from Julia Sevin who asked for my version of Aquaman I did for Project Rooftop.
If you want to make a request you can just hit the button on the sidebar --> Make sure you read the guidelines here before you do, so you can join the ranks of all the awesome ladies and gents that told me what to do.

Request: Glory
Steven Mangold requested that I draw something awesome. I just finished reading Glory #23 and hot damn is it awesome!
One time I requested a sketch from someone and instead of a sketch I got a slap right in my face! Make sure that doesn't happen to YOU by checking out request guidelines in here!
Request: Me
Chris Piers wanted a drawing of me sperming myself in the pants and that's what he gets!
If you want to request a sketch of something worse than this, you'd probably need to see this post first.
Request: Shade the Changing Man
This request is Shade the Changing Man from Kimberly deMalpertuis. Thanks!
If you'd like to make a request, check out the details here to make sure you don't step on a duck!

Request: Sapphire Stagg
This request is from Chris Sims who asked for the one and only Sapphire Stagg. Thanks, Chris!
If you want to make a request, double check here to make sure you're not pulling a boner!
Request: Daryl Dixon
Today's request is from Joel Carroll who requested that I draw whatever I felt like and dang it I just felt like drawing the best character in the Walking Dead show, Daryl. Thanks, Joel!
If you'd like to make a request too be sure to check out the details here so you don't make a goof.

Request: Butterfly!
Hey guys, I have some news! I have set up a sort of tip jar over on the sidebar -> where if you send five bucks my way you can request a sketch to appear on this here blog. BUT I guess there are probably gonna have to be some rules just so things go smoothly.
- Keep it simple, name a character you want, or a thing, or a situation (Superman ripping open a safe, for example)
- I won't do your own personal character mainly because it is too much work. I don't mind googling a character for reference, but if it involves a model sheet and a list of their powers and their backstory, blahhh.
- You don't get a copy of the drawing or anything physical outside of the warm satisfaction of knowing I was the marionette to your puppetmaster and was powerless against you. Also I will mention that the request was your's so that everyone will know how much of a glowing, radiant, generous person you are!
- OBVIOUSLY no offensive requests will be honored. I will probably email you to ask for something else, or if I can't be arsed I'll just send back your 5-spot. I like violence and boobs as much as the next guy, but don't be stupid about it.
- If you like the sketch you get, share it! Tweet, tumbl, share, reblog, livejournal, reddit it, do whatever it is you do. This is not a rule really, but it is greatly appreciated.
I think that should cover things for now. All you have to do is type in your request in the blank form provided and click buy now. If anything screws up I will contact you and we will straighten it out. Sketches will be done in the order they are requested, and I will try my darnedest to post one a day. If a list starts to pile up I will probably shut down the button for a bit until I can catch up. If there is anything I have missed or any questions just ask in the comments.
To kick the whole thing off, today's request from a real sweetheart, Dean Trippe, who asked me to draw Butterfly even before I had this thing set up! What a guy!

Hipster sketches
So after I did that Hipster Big Barda I started to do the ladies of X-Men as hipsters, and I think I only got 3 done... or maybe 2. The idea was to do a lot more, and I had some ideas but none of them really solidified. Here are a bunch of doodles I did around the time. I'll return to them soon! I just need to come up with some better stuff. I hope to do a print of all the X-Ladies together at some point.
Actually the real reason I didn't do any more hipster superladies is because doing hipster superheroes became so mainstream loooooololololol smh kj kj kj rolfmaow
*I just remembered a conflict that came up when I was thinking about these. One of Rogues' costumes from the 8os is already a hipster costume, it is the most hipstery costume you could possibly put her in, but instead of just settling with that one I tried to challenge myself and ended up just slamming my head into the wall by the end of it. Whoops!
